This happens to me too. It's only bad when I lay on a pillow and then whatever part of my head is touching the pillow itches like mad. It helps to be sure you thoroughly get the colorant off your scalp but I don't think there's much else to be done other than to use conditioner. It's the price we girls pay. Don't hate us because we're beautiful! I've used various brands including over the counter and professional and it makes no difference. It's probably the developer and not the actual color anyway.
