As early as high school, i already have my white hair so when I entered college, I started coloring my hair and stopped when I became pregnant. I just gave birth last October 24, 2007 and I breastfeed my baby. I would like to know if what they say about coloring hair is true especially when you're pregnant or lactating.
I am breastfeeding now, am I allowed to color my hair?
If you are planning to do an "all over" color, it is not recommended because the color comes into contact with a large area of skin, which is ultimately is absorbed through the skin. If you are altering your color via a color weave, it is considered to be OK because the color to skin exposure is limited. However, it is best to speak with your baby's pediatrician.

Drinking, Drugs and things of the like (including hair drying) aren't suggested while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Talk to your doctor about it, but until you have the OK from them I would suggest you NOT do it.
