Soaking in liquid dish detergent is usually my first step, but I'm not sure that will work with permanent dye. You can try dabbing a medium strength bleach (Chlorine) solution right on the spot with a q-tip, then rinse immediately after it fades the dye (if it does). that might be the best possibility if it is just a small spot.

Only way to remove hair dye from a white shirt is with a green laser.......most sporting goods shops carry these and i bet if you talk real nice to the MALE clerk..he would let you use it.( for free)The instant laser vaporizes the dye without damaging the cloth....My father owns a dry cleaners and charges a FORTUNE for this service. Please do not tell anyone this secret or he will be outta business!!!
