Christians, if Yeshua (Jesus) was God incarnate, why then do you depict God as an old man with a whi

I mean you don't believe that The Creator came in any human form save in Jesus's, why then do you depict Him as a very old man with completely white hair and a cotton-white beard? See Michaelangelo's painting, William Blake's...etc

Again, since Jesus is God incarnate, how come he sits besides the Father on the Throne on the Day of Judgement?

Was it Jesus who spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai? If not, then who's that other incarnated God that spoke to him?

How come Jesus did not know when the Day of Judgement is, whereas the Father only knows? Isn't Jesus and the Father one??

To whom Jesus prayed and to whom did he scream at on the cross, crying: "My God! My God!"?

Is The Father God? Or just part of the trinity; thus being 1/3 of God? Or does the Father have the lion's share in God as Jesus said that the Father is greater than I?

If God hated Adam and all his offsprings for just the sin of eating a forbidden fruit, how come He reconciled with them after they flogged and crucified Him?

Not all christians state that Jesus and God are the same being. Many christians believe that they are 2 separate beings. For those who beleive them to be separate, it then makes sense why the bible depicts them separately (Jesus sitting on the side of God or only God knows the Day of Judgement, for example). There are those who believe that Jesus was the God of the Old Testament, acting as the liason between man and God but not actually the same person. (God of Old Testament claimed to be the great "I Am" as did Jesus in the New Testament) The statment that the Father and Jesus are one would therefore be a statement about their purpose and goals...not their physical being.

if he is so great then how could the human mind possibly imagine god. if anything he is completly different then an old man. he is wise he must be old. no way. if anything he is a saphire dragon.

How we depict God or Jesus has nothing to do with who they were.

Usually, we depict Jesus as white with Celtic (European) features. Jesus was Jewish, and at that time, Jews were medium to dark skinned with black hair and features and averated about 5'3" to 5'5".

God, of course, has never been seen, so it would be impossible to depict him accurately.

God never hated adam - God hates the sin not the sinner. Adam was punished out of love.

Christians as a generalisation dont portray God in this way but I can see how some do so in order that they can relate better.

How do you visualise God without attaching a physical form?

to answer the main question, incarnates do not always resemble those they replicate. God assumed human form simply to appeal to humans. no one can claim to know his true reflection.

and the old man with a white beard is just speculation. michaelangelo, william blake, etc., cannot claim to have looked into the face of God.

I believe the old man with a beard symbolizez wisdom, which God has an infinite amount of.

but honestly, what do I know, just remember to ask God when you die.

Jesus is the one who does the judging on the day of Judgment. John 16:4 no one comes to the father expect through him. after Judgment then you meet God. and i dont think God will be in a human form... i dont know what form it will be... just have to wait.

Jesus is God in human form and does not need to worry about when it will be time for him to go back to earth. it is God in heaven that has everything planed out and it is he that knows.

Jesus cried out to God in heaven.

as to your other questions i can not answer being how i do know know the stories or acquire the knowledge at this time.

i pray that God blesses you in your search.

Wow, you have so many questions. You would probably get all the information you need to know about it, by going to a bible study class.Good luck.

u r asking lots of questions here

i care to answer the paintings questions as it's my concern..

Jesus and God are one yes

if u noticed that Jesus was born in middle east, so he is supposed to have dark eyes and hair.. painter also used to draw him blonde..

WHY? because they are afftected with thier atmophere (Europe), Painting is a combination of artist's feelings and his society..

when painters draw God as an old man doesnt mean that he is Old- it means wisedom and experience ( as old men r supposed to be)

painting cant be limited by beliefs. and remember painters r not priests so they r free to draw whatever they feel to

thanks

Blesses
