Sounds like an infected hair follicle, which is basically a harmless ingrown hair that has gotten some pus in it. I used to work for a Dermatologist. Once the white ball comes out, clean it with soap and water and maybe put a dab of peroxide on it. If it looks worse in a couple days, go see a skin doctor.

it could be a keloid...i have them......thats the correct medical term for it, do a google search for keloid and see if its familiar.

sounds familiar like i've seen something like that before (not on me). it may have been an infected ingrown hair %26amp; that ball was just hardened puss.

Is it where you shave? You might be sensitive to you shaving cream/razor/or maybe you shaved to hard/fast....? Go to the dr. if it doesn't go away.
