I would recommend going to a salon, buying store bleach is extremely hard on your hair, you may even loose it. It also depends if your hair is already dyed, then you are going to have to strip that color out and go from there. Take it from me, I have lost my hair a couple of times trying to get the platinum chunks in my hair by doing it by myself. If you do blond yourself, you aren't going to achieve that white blonde the first try you are going to have to put in at least 2-3 blond color/bleach to achieve the look.

Bleach is not good on your hair to begin with, so you would want a professional that knows what they are doing to handle this situation. I use Redkens Up to 7 or either Lightening Crystals.
