Dog hait tipped with black is usually called sable. Striped hair, like with the Siberian husky, is agouti.

My cat has that. She has black fur on the top and white on the bottom of each hair. I have completely forgotten what it is is called, but it is possible.

Humans and dogs are different. Animals often have ''ticked'' fur, where the tips of the fur are a different color than the base.

You're not a dog - that's why your hair doesn't do that.

Most animals have an "agouti" pattern on their fur, which can be enhanced or bred out depending on the animal's species and breed.

Humans and dogs do not share the same qualities as far as hair goes. Many breeds have 'tipped' hair, including sled dogs and terriers. It's just the way their hair grows.

Very common in dogs.

A whole slew of genes controls coat color and the patterns of coat color in dogs and other animals.

The gene that produces that banding pattern of color that you're referring to is called "Agouti". Here's some more about color genetics of huskies:

Yes many dogs have this on ear tips and some bearded dogs have it randomly on the beard,

It's like as if the dog had smoked cigars!
