It also removes grease from clothing, ink from clothing and other stains from carpeting. There are directions on the back for different things if you just follow these it works wonderfully! Also it has a wonderful orange smell!

I am not sure about the Goo Be Gone but I am a Cosmetologist and any time I have gotten hair dye on clothing and or carpet I would use PRIMA TINT or CLEAN TOUCH. Call a local beauty supply and ask if they stock it. Cigarette ashes will remove hair dye from skin as well but I am sure I would use that on carpet. Good Luck!
