Contrary to popular mythology. Egyptians were never truly what we call Black people. They were descended from semitic peoples similar to all of the people who inhabited the fertile crescent and upper Nile area.
Egyptians were truly an amalgamation of different races. Look at the wars they fought and the people they brought back as slaves that eventually mixed with the people. Hittites, Assyrians, Greeks, Jews, Phoenicians, and even blacks from the lower Nile area of Ethiopia. There are too many to name.
More brown than black really. Not really white either. But founders of the modern world and science.
